Joran Jacobsen was born way up in the north of Norway (specifically Tromsø) in 1982, but gradually became a “jævla søring” after the family moved to Oslo seven years later. After ending back up in Tromsø several times as an adult, without aiming for it, she finally gave up and bought a house in the middle of Tromsø city centre, got married and produced a small “Tromsøværing” of her own. Looks like she’s staying!
Even though she builds furniture for a living, she enjoys drinking fancypants coffee, not black, as tradition demands. She doesn’t normally refer to herself in the third person.
